Stellantis Acquires 49.5% Stake in Argentine Solar Company

Stellantis, a car manufacturer, will invest $100 million for a 49.5% stake in Argentine solar company 360 Energy Solar. The partnership aims to develop new solar plants, install large-scale storage systems, and produce hydrogen energy. This investment is part of Stellantis' goal to achieve energy independence and carbon neutrality by 2038. 360 Energy Solar currently owns over 250 MW of PV capacity in Argentina, with plans for another 500 MWp.
