Amea Power has secured financing for 120 MW of solar power near Klerksdor, South Africa. The $188 million investment includes a $100 million debt from Standard Bank and an $8 million equity contribution by Industrial Development Corp. This marks the developers first operational asset in South Africa with expected commercial operations by December 2025, generating about 325 GWh of clean energy for 9,000 households.
