Tesla has introduced a new long-range rear-wheel-drive (RWD) Model Y in some European markets, offering buyers an accessible price for longer electric vehicle (EV) range. The new trim is priced higher than the standard range RWD Model Y but comes with the longest range of any Model Y variant at 600 km (373 miles) on the WLTP cycle when equipped with 19-inch Gemini wheels. The automaker aims to counter high-interest rates by introducing cheaper vehicles, and the new Model Y LR RWD is now available in select European countries.
