RWE has approved its first 8-hour battery storage project, the Limondale 50MW/400MWh in Australia. This will support NSW's energy transition and complement its existing Solar Farm by storing excess renewable energy for later use. It involves a partnership with Tesla Megapacks and Beon Energy Solutions.
