New research finds thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) encapsulants superior for dual-glass solar modules. TPO exhibits higher viscoelasticity, lower permeability to water vapor and oxygen, and more stable crosslinking compared to conventional EVA and POE materials under UV ageing tests.
