India's first utility-scale, standalone energy storage project - a 20 MW/40 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) by BSES Rajdhani Power in collaboration with IndiGrid and Global Energy Alliance for People and Planets (GEAPP), receives regulatory approval. Supported by GEAPP's concessional loan, the project aims to enhance power quality & reliability for over 1,000 low-income consumers within New Delhi Utility (BRPL).
