The US Department of Energy targets $2/kg hydrogen production by 2026, decreasing to $1/kg by 2031. Initiatives include a strategy plan from HFTO for guiding hydrogen innovation and research. Plug Power is supplying electrolyzers for Allied Green's Australia project. Dutch subsidies support seven renewable hydrogen projects, with combined capacity of 101 MW.
