Tesla is gearing up for the approval of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) package in China, seeking registration with Chinas Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The FSD system will initially be tested on Teslas employee fleet before an internal rollout.
Tesla is also pursuing FSD approvals in Europe.
While promising, Musks assurance of full self-driving remains a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), with driver responsibility not fully relinquished.
Tesla's FSD is in development stages and undergoing real-world testing worldwide.

Tesla prepares for China Full Self-Driving (FSD) approval by registering with Chinas Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Initially, FSD testing will occur on employee vehicles, followed by a wider internal rollout once approved.
