In Q1 2024, Nissan LEAF and Ariya, Hyundai IONIQ 6, Tesla Model 3, and Toyota bZ4X were the most affordable electric vehicles (EVs) in the US due to significant discounts. According to Cox Automotive data, electric vehicle prices decreased by nearly $5,000 during this period, resulting in a 9% overall decrease and a 3.8% quarterly decrease. Nissan LEAF had the lowest average selling price with a discount of about $750, while Tesla Model 3, Hyundai IONIQ 6, and Toyota bZ4X followed suit with varying discounts. Many other automakers also offer substantial savings on EV models.
