M-TEC has launched the ECO air-source heat pump, available from 2.0 to 7.0 kW, with a seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP) of up to 4.7 and flow temperatures of up to 75C. It uses R290 refrigerant, operates at low noise levels (up to 49 dB(A)), can be cascaded up to 12 times for larger systems, and requires no technical room or special installation process. Available from July with the E-Smart control technology by M-Tec.
