Vietnam-based solar PV module manufacturer Boviet Solar is investing $294 million to establish its first U.S.-based manufacturing facility in Greenville, North Carolina. The two-phase project will produce solar modules and cells, with a planned output of 2 GW of solar panels and 2 GW of PV cells annually. This marks Boviet Solar's first manufacturing facility in the United States and only its second globally. The facility will manufacture TOPCon N-Type Monofacial and Bifacial PV modules, catering to residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale clients. Localizing production aims to offer enhanced flexibility, reliability, and agility in meeting client demands.
